This derived GeoJSON database is made available under ODbL 1.0. Preserve attribution and the license notice when distributing it. The map is general reference geography, never a source of property listings. Retrieved October 9, 2026 through the public Overpass API, bounding box south 38.69, west -121.45, north 38.88, east -121.09. Included way types: motorway, trunk, primary, secondary, tertiary, residential, motorway_link, trunk_link, river, stream, natural=water, leisure=park. Query uses `out geom`. Geometry simplified at approximately six meters for browser performance using `scripts/prepare-map.py`. Broad city labels are included for orientation. The full dataset stays available at `/maps/placer.geojson`. The OSM snapshot covers the Placer County corridor around Roseville, Rocklin, Granite Bay, Loomis and part of Lincoln/Folsom. Major roads for Fair Oaks and Sacramento city have been added from Sacramento County’s official Centerlines Feature Service (County of Sacramento and Regional Partners), retrieved October 14, 2026 using the configured market bounds. The County publishes this layer under a Creative Commons Public Domain Dedication (CC0 1.0): https://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/. Only highways, ramps, arterials and collectors were included; local residential streets, parks and water outside the OSM snapshot are not covered by this supplement. Preserve the source credit in the MapLibre style. Max zoom 14 avoids implying exact property locations. This snapshot is not a promise of current road conditions. The application makes no runtime calls to OpenStreetMap, Overpass or ArcGIS.
